The company has decided to support the charity after learning more about the individual, life-changing support the team provides to vulnerable young individuals from across Nottinghamshire.

MD of Henry Brothers Ian Taylor said: “Switch Up uses tried and tested mentoring techniques, along with physical training, to engage Nottingham’s young people in positive activity and to steer them away from the circle of crime and gang-criminality.

“The work that Switch Up founder Marcellus Baz has done in setting up the charity and developing it into such an important resource for young people in the city is truly inspirational. Henry Brothers is excited to announce that the company is going to be a sponsor of Switch Up for the next three years and we look forward to exploring ways in which we can help the charity and those who benefit from it.”

Shaped by Baz’s own lived experience, Switch Up uses its unique Five Pillar approach to empower young people to overcome life’s toughest challenges. Combining mentoring, counselling, education, employability and physical activity, the Switch Up team supported more than 2,000 people in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire in 2024 alone, creating positive impact on physical and mental health, crime prevention and education, employment and training.

“This incredible support from Henry Brothers will make a real and lasting difference to the work we do. We are grateful for their commitment to sponsor us over the next three years.
