Tomáš Souček, the West ham star and Czech international, has put his speedy recovery from a World Cup injury down to a product created by a military veteran.

The 31-year-old suffered serious ligament damage during Czechia’s final group match against Mexico during the tournament this summer. He was told it would be five months before he was playing again, but with the help of a natural relief gel called HEMPE, he was back on the pitch after just three months.

Souček paid tribute to medical staff at his country and club, but has hailed the product created by Farard Darver’s Healthcare International Research. Farard, from Lymington, Hants, whose business is headquartered in Wimborne, Dorset, created the brand after using CBD products following an injury he received while serving in Afghanistan.

Souček said:
