The Cobham Bookshop Welcomes Lord Heseltine

The Cobham Bookshop were delighted to welcome Lord Michael Heseltine to the shop last week accompanied by Sue Biggs CBE.

A fascinating and wide ranging conversation covered topics from horticultural life at his home, Thenford House; memories of VE Day and clearance of post-war urban dereliction; to development of a mayoral system and the big issues facing our country today.

Lord Heseltine’s new autobiography From Acorns to Oaks : A Life in Business and Politics reflects on his vision for Britain, his leadership style, and his continued advocacy for economic renewal and devolution.
