Drivers across Dorset now have easier access to cars from BYD, one of the UK’s fastest-growing vehicle brands, thanks to significant investment from Hendy Group in creating a dedicated new showroom in Poole, which is open now.

Hendy is now the sole representative for BYD in Dorset, with the new Poole site on Wallisdown Road. The opening marks Hendy’s fourth BYD facility in the South of England – alongside Christchurch, Crawley and Tonbridge – and brings the total number of vehicle brands in Hendy’s portfolio to 26.

Locals visiting the new BYD Poole showroom can explore the full model line-up, from the compact Dolphin and Dolphin Surf hatchback to the Atto 3 crossover SUV and the largest models in the range, including the all-electric Sealion 7 family SUV and the plug-in hybrid Seal U DM-i. Test drives will be available across the range, helping potential buyers find the model best suited to their needs and preferences.

Customers at the Poole dealership can also benefit from dedicated aftersales support, with their workshop offering servicing, maintenance, repairs and MOTs for all BYD models. For added convenience, the dealership also has electric vehicle charging points available for customers to use while charging on site.
