Armistice Day Commemorated In Loughborough

Armistice Day was commemorated on Monday, 11 November with a service led by Reverend David Newman at 10.50am held at the Carillon Tower in Queen’s Park, Loughborough.


The Last Post was played and a two-minute silence was observed at 11am.

A number of people gathered at the Carillon Tower to mark the two-minute silence to pay their respects to those who have served and lost their lives in the armed forces.


The Mayor of Charnwood Councillor Dr Julie Bradshaw MBE attended.
