Lord Mayor to Welcome Residents

The Lord Mayor and Admiral of the Humber is to stage his Lord Mayor’s At Home event at the Guildhall next month.

The free event will allow residents to meet Councillor Kalvin Neal following his recent appointment to the prestigious role, as well as enjoying a cuppa and a piece of cake.

It will take place in the magnificent Banqueting Hall of the Guildhall from 10:30am to 12:00pm on Saturday 15th July.

There will be the traditional plant display, which this year has been sponsored by KWL, and the plants will be sold off in aid of the Lord Mayor’s Charity Appeal Fund, which this year benefits Hull4Heroes and Dove House Hospice.

The Lord Mayor said: “I’m really looking forward to welcoming people to this event, which we traditionally hold each year."

“It’s a great chance for us to get together, and to raise some money for good causes."

“I’m really keen to meet as many people as possible in such a wonderful setting.”
